February at LOA Youth Ranch

πŸ“¨ February at LOA Youth Ranch: Love in Action, Rain or Shine

Dear LOA Family,

Your prayers and support continue to create a sanctuary of healing at LOA Youth Ranch. We are deeply grateful for your unwavering commitment to our mission.

❄️ Through the Cold: Courage, Connection, and Growth

Brrr! February brought extreme cold and icy conditions, but that didn’t stop our dedicated session leaders and families from showing up. Despite a one-week break due to weather, our leaders’ commitment never wavered. Chloe and Tessa, true rockstars, continued providing love, support, and guidance to their kids through it all.

Watching kids overcome fears, gain confidence, and build trust in every kind of weather is a powerful reminder of why we do what we do. We praise God for their continued progress!

We also spent a joyful (and chilly!) day spreading love with heart-shaped candy and crafts for some of the families we serve, as well as for the women and children at the UGM shelter. We were welcomed warmly, had great interactions, and even brought along a young woman interested in becoming a session leader.

πŸ¦ƒ A flock of wild turkeys ran to our van at one stopβ€”a surprise moment of laughter and connection. These acts of love, shared with Chloe, Tessa, Chretienne, and Connor, made it a February to remember.

πŸ”₯ Preparing for Progress: A Winter Fundraiser on the Horizon

As we prepare to launch a special fundraiser in March, we’re focused on making our winter sessions more comfortable for our families and leaders. Our current setup challenges us in the colder months, but with your help, we can improve our space and extend our care year-round. Stay tuned for more!
